Biography
Michael Whitley is graduate of the University of Houston, produced playwright (Stages Theater, 1999), have written articles for such publications as Cliqkue magazine, Dream2.org and University of Houston Cougar student newspaper. He’s studied writing seriously at the University of Houston undergraduate Creative Writing Department and Hurston-Wright Writing workshops in Washington, D.C. His first book, Who is Sean: a collection, was self-published in April, 2005. He is presently working on his second collection of short stories, a novel and actively looking for a literary agent and a steady paycheck. He lives and works in Washington, D.C.
